Rosso Levanto turns Monolite into a statement object before it is furniture. The red Ligurian stone and vertical mass were made for each other.
Ophicalcite and serpentinite breccia from the Ligurian coast of Italy, quarried near Levanto, Bonassola, and Deiva Marina in La Spezia province. Deep red matrix crossed by white calcite veins. Used since Etruscan and Roman times; today it remains one of Italy's most distinctive decorative stones.
Natural Rosso Levanto ophicalcite, imported from Liguria, Italy. Polished and sealed for interior use. Red matrix with white calcite veining; variation in tone and vein pattern is expected and valued. Cut and finished in our workshop.
