Classic Roman travertine from the Tivoli hills east of Rome, historically called Lapis Tiburtinus. Formed over millennia from mineral-rich spring water in the Acque Albule basin. Warm ivory and beige tones with natural pitting and layered movement. The same family of stone shaped Roman architecture, including the Colosseum.
Natural travertine limestone, imported from the Tivoli region, Italy. Honed or polished face, sealed for home use. Natural pores and layered bands are part of the material, not defects. Each piece carries its own geological character.
